Ireland
18 July 2012

The new Ireland Section AROC stand displayed 21 interesting Alfas at the Terenure Car Show on a very wet 8th July. Models on display included the Giuiletta (one of which, a Giuiletta sprint 1600 won the 2011 Classic Monte Carlo rally), Giulia, 105 series Bertone and Spider, Alfasud, Alfetta, 75, 145, 155 and 916 series GVT and Spider. Thanks to Leo Nulty of Alfa Ireland who supplied flagpoles, flags, bunting and model cars for the exhibitors on the stand. Special thanks are due to Gordon Rowland for supplying a gazebo, an invaluable piece of infrastructure on the day which allowed us to stay dry. Sabine Rowland for supplying food which was much appreciated during the day and to Serena O’Reilly for her supply of ‘Alfa branded’ cup cakes. Myles O’Reilly and his son Philip who helped to secure some really interesting cars for the stand. We had a steady trickle of people through the stand all day with many enquiring about the club itself as well as club membership and last but not least thanks to Andreas Neiser who took some great photographs despite the challenging conditions.
