The club had a stand at the Ripon Old Cars event today. Held on the Ripon racecourse, this event attracted all kinds of vehicles from veteran cars to vintage caravans and of course Alfa Romeos. We had a stand of ten cars. Members came from far and wide to display their cars. Amy Vernon member came from Manchester in her 916 Spider, whilst another Clive Richardson drove up from Lincolnshire in his 8C.
We had a great time. The Yorkshire sections recently acquired gazebo was on display and proved useful as a shelter from bouts of rain. Fortunately these did not last long and gave us all a chance to look at some great cars.
