Wingrove Motor Company Expands Portfolio with Alfa Romeo and Jeep, Strengthening North East Presence

Wingrove Motor Company, the North East’s largest family-owned and operated car dealership group, is proud to announce its expansion with the addition of two iconic automotive brands, Alfa Romeo and Jeep.

These exclusive contracts mark a significant milestone in Wingrove’s nearly century-long history and reflect its commitment to providing customers with exceptional choices and service.

Josh Parker, managing director at Wingrove Motor Company, expressed enthusiasm for the reintroduction of Alfa Romeo and Jeep to the region, stating, “The reintroduction of the iconic Alfa Romeo and Jeep brands to the region isn’t just an expression of confidence in Wingrove, but also in the North East as a whole.” He emphasized the company’s dedication to delivering high-quality customer experiences, a cornerstone of Wingrove’s success.

Maria Grazia Davino, group managing director at Stellantis UK, echoed this sentiment, saying, “We are delighted to have Wingrove Motor Company add Alfa Romeo and Jeep to their existing portfolio of brands from Stellantis together with after-sales support for Fiat, Abarth and Fiat Professional.” Davino praised Wingrove’s legacy and dedication to customer service, values that align closely with Stellantis’ vision.

This expansion comes as part of Wingrove’s ongoing growth strategy, which includes adding servicing contracts for Fiat, Abarth, and Fiat Professional to its dealerships, alongside existing brands Citroën, Peugeot, and DS. With Alfa Romeo and Jeep joining the lineup, Wingrove anticipates a significant boost in commercial performance, with turnover expected to increase by at least 25% over the next year to approximately £60 million.

Wingrove Motor Company has been a constant presence in the North East automotive scene, employing around 90 people across its Silverlink, Newcastle West Road, and Cramlington dealerships and service centers. The addition of Alfa Romeo and Jeep is expected to create several new job opportunities, further contributing to the region’s economic growth.

Alfa Romeo will be showcased alongside Wingrove’s range of new DS cars at the Newcastle West Road dealership, while Jeep will join the award-winning Citroën and Peugeot brands at the Silverlink site. This strategic placement aims to maximize commercial performance and ensure a seamless integration of the new brands into Wingrove’s existing lineup.

As Wingrove Motor Company embarks on this exciting new chapter, it remains committed to its legacy of excellence and dedication to customer satisfaction. With Alfa Romeo and Jeep joining its ranks, Wingrove looks forward to continuing to serve the North East community and shaping the automotive landscape for years to come.
