Simply Italian, Beaulieu, April 23rd

Wessex
24 April 2023

On 23rd April we organised a large club stand at Beaulieu Simply Italian.  A total of 65 beautiful Alfas turned out, with the Wessex, Goodwood, Somerset, West Wilts, Central Sussex and Surrey Sections all represented on the stand.  In addition, the marshals sent a few other Alfa Romeos to park with us, including a gentleman in a 164 who had come down from Birmingham for the event.  The weather forecast for the day was rather discouraging with forecasts of showers.  However, we were fortunate that the actual weather on the day turned out much better than this with the cold grey start improving through the day with sunshine by mid afternoon.  An impressive range of Alfas were displayed, ranging from David Carpenter’s 101 Giulietta Spider to Brett Edbrook’s Giulia GTAm together with an impressive display of intervening models.

In addition to our club area, there were plenty of other Alfas parked around the show together with loads of other interesting cars from the other Italian marques.

Overall, a great day.  Thank you to everyone who came along despite the poor weather forecast.

There are plenty of other photos on the main AROC Facebook page.
