September Monthly News Letter

East Anglia
11 September 2023

Hello everyone.

I hope you are all well after such a lovely weeks’ weather, handy, as I was on holiday in north Norfolk!

Well, what can I say, Oaksmere Italia, 60 Alfas on the stand and 7 more in the general or the usual car parks. That has to be a section record. I know next year there will be others joining us already. Well done to all that made it. Andrew, the organiser has already told me of some tweaks for next year, more food stall, bar staff etc.so it should be even better! Oh and one of the Ferrari clubs are making it one of their events and hope to bring 20-30 cars. If the 275 GTB was anything to go by……! Lots of photos via the links to our fb page. See below;

Coming up

Tuesday 26th September, Monthly Meet 7pm The Manger, Bradfield Combust, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, IP30 0LW

Saturday 7th October, Brewery Tour, Cars and Coffee, Fur & Feather, Salhouse Road, Woodbastwick, Norwich, NR13 6HQ. I have had a good chat with the Fur & Feathers and they will do a brewery tour at 12noon for us, followed by a tasting in the brewery tap and then 10% off in the shop. Then we can lunch in the pub! They are looking to do a classic car show later in the year so we will be their Guinee pigs! I will of course need numbers attending in advance so do let me know ASAP.

Wednesday 25th October 7pm, The Royal George, Church Rd, Barningham, Bury Saint Edmunds IP31 1DD It would be a great help if you can let me know if you’re coming, it’s a smallish pub specialising in fish dishes cooked fresh on the day.

Sunday 26th November, AGM & Sunday Lunch, The Old Ram Coaching Inn, Ipswich Road, Norwich, NR15 2DE More details to follow, but I will certainly need numbers and probably menu choices in advance.

I hope to see you soon.
