October Secretary’s Update – Cotswolds

Dear all,

I hope you have all had a fantastic summer and enjoyed some of the of the clubs events this year, it seems like the sunny days were a bit few and far between this year but the weather did hold for CAD so hopefully those that attending that event and perhaps even those who took part in the tour had a good day.

This month we have our last weekend events of the year before we head into winter with the following events:

Sunday 13th of October from 10am: Road and Rail meeting at Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Steam Railway, Toddington GL54 5DT

Following a good turn out and popular venue last year we return to Toddington Station , this is a free event join us more fun with cars and trains, weather you fancy a trip along the line or just stop by for a coffee and a chat the choice is yours!

Sunday 20th of October @ 10am: Brunch at Cotswold Barn, Morton-in-Marsh GL56 0QZ

Following our successful brunch meeting in Stow and on the recommendation of members we are booked from 10am at Cotswold Barn for Club Brunch at Cotswold Barn.

We also have our regular South Cots meeting on Thursday 31st of October 2024 @ 7pm: South Cotswold Monthly at The Highwayman Inn, Elkstone Nr Cirencester GL53 9PH

This month’s meeting will be feature a  gallery exhibition with a number of large photo prints on display, these will be pictures taken at events over the last year including from Cotswold Alfa Day. 

If you have any pictures of your own you would like to share from this year’s events, please email them to me and I will see if we can add them to the event.
