Our October event on the 8th was our popular Food and Skittles evening at Pamphill Hall. Twenty three of us assembled in a variety of cars (mostly Alfas !) to enjoy a fabulous indian meal as prepared by Ian and Joanne Brookfield. The food was superb and many of us queued for seconds. Many thanks to Ian and Joanne. In fact so enthusiastic were the diners that next years preferences have already been made ! Next to the skittles event and this turned out to be one of the best competitions in terms of skill and accuracy with Tracey Duckenfield just edging out David Kell and John Lapham to win. That’s now two years in a row the fairer sex have triumphed.
