 Hello All

I trust you are well.

We were on for a great gathering at our October monthly meet on the 27th at Horningsea, sadly last minute illness, work commitments, the A14 being closed, cut us down from a rowdy 16 plus to a jolly 8 on the day! Image attached.

If you are planning to come to the November Lunch and AGM and havnt already let me know, now is the time! There is a while to go before I need the final attendees for the Christmas meal.

Remembrance Run 7th November

If anyone is free tomorrow and fancies a run north. The Remembrance Run takes place starting at 9.30am with a coffee & breakfast meet at The at The Cooper’s Arms at Weston-on-Trent, (Address is Weston Hall, Weston-on-Trent, Derby DE72 2BJ). Bacon & Sausage rolls / coffee/tea all available.

The run designed by James Fernley (copied) will depart at around 10:30 on a relaxed-pace 2-hour drive in convoy across to Cannock Chase before returning to Foremark Reservoir and nature reserve south of Derby.   There’s an optional donation to the Poppy Appeal that people can make on the day or via a Just Giving Page HERE

There’s entry charge – just a £3 parking charge at Foremark Reservoir where there is also a café. (Breakfast/refreshments are to be paid for.) a confirmation of attendance to John would be appreciated.

Sunday 21st November Sunday Lunch and AGM, 12.30pm for 1.30 lunch. The Elveden Inn, Brandon Road (B1106), Elveden Estate, IP24 3TP. Please let me know if you are planning to attend.

Saturday 4th December Christmas Dinner at The Old Kings Head, Brockdish, Norfolk, IP21 4JY. 7pm for 7.30pm Please let me know if you are planning to attend.

And a slight indulgence at the end, as the sun came out I thought it rude not to get a last drive in the Alfeeta, theyve salted the roads now darn it. Check out the mountains of Suffolk in the background!

I hope to see you soon

Best wishes
