May Monthly News Letter
Hi All
PLEASE NOTE FOR THE THREE EVENTS IN BOXES I WILL NEED REPLIES IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND!
I hope you are all well.
First event in April was our 3rd spring Cars and Coffee at this gorgeous venue, The Pike and Eel at Needingworth. Although the sun wasn’t shining like years gone by, 53 vehicles made an appearance to show their love for Italian engineering. 12 Ferrari’s courtesy of The Ferrari owners club arrived in convoy filling the air with the sound of Modena’s finest. Both we and the South Midlands sections represented Alfa Romeo with anything and everything. 147s, 156 GTA, GTV, spider, Alfetta, Giulias old and new on display. Abarth and Fiat were also represented with 124 spiders, 500s and a very tidy Barchetta. Not to mention the Maserati Ghibli amongst it all. Thank you to everybody who supported this event from all the clubs and more mentioned. A big thank you to The Pike and Eel for letting us use the venue as well.
The April meet was at The Woolpack at Fornham St Martin near Bury St. Edmunds this venue was another first for us for 2026. Both the Porsche and Saab owners meet here so we knew this would be a car friendly venue. 12 of us enjoyed delicious food with quite possibly the thickest beef burgers you’re likely to see anywhere locally. Spring had officially sprung with glorious sunshine greeting us on arrival. The perfect weather get out the Spider that has been hibernating for a test run before a long journey!
