March News Letter

East Anglia
7 March 2023

Hi All

I trust you are well.

February saw us at The Plough and Fleece in Horningsea. The pub had recently re opened ( about the week before our visit) and the food has improved and I am sure once fully up to steam (like the seasonal vegetables, in joke) will be better still. A good turnout including a new face, Stuart, good to meet you, the sound of a Giulia QV is always a joy! We also managed to beet the A14 road closures by getting ahead of the coning off lorry!

I have booked a stand for 35 cars for Kimbolton and 30 for Helmingham. A number of events seem to be changing their booking systems. Kimbolton want you all to book on line, but then you have to tell me your coming, then I have to confirm the number going, and book a space big enough! (Comment has been made re last year’s stand being undersize!) There will be no need for the wristbands as I guess you’ll print your own ticket. Tickets will be available via www.Ticketsource.co.uk, currently only general admission are available.

Helmingham and Glemham I will have to book as a block so let me know which you want to go to, the Oaksmere which is on the same day as Glemham will be a come and go as you please relaxed event.

We have a very busy series of events this year, in some new areas and venues, plus some Sunday morning Car and Coffee meets which are getting very popular, we also have a major clash in September with three on the same day, let me know your choices! See below;
