Historic Masters 2020
I must have to admit that I’d had a bit of a “Mare” of a week in between Festival Italia and the Historic Masters a week later and was determined to sit down, eat my sausage sandwiches, consume a flask of tea and watch some fantastic classic cars being raced to the limit from the sidelines and relax for a change. So I thought I’d just put together a record of the day in the form of a record of photographs from what I considered to be the best of the collection of photos submitted to our Facebook site of what is considered to be the best classic racing event of the season. Hope you enjoy the collection of selected photos and a record of what was a fantastic day amid COVID-19 restrictions, the weather and what was a great atmosphere.
Please forgive that there is no explanation for each of these photos I was having a bit of a relaxed day enjoying the event. That said you always know that we are approaching September when Spitfire fighter planes start appearing over the Kent countryside to always remind us of our other historic past . Anyway lets see what September will bring whilst we are Sandwiched between what can only be described as a second wave of COVID-19 in the North of the country and Europe’s second wave of this virus across 22 miles of our English channel. Enough really to say, just enjoy the moment when you can, whilst you can. Ciao to all, till next time.
