Our February meeting at the St. Leonards Hotel turned out to be rather shorter than planned !   We were aware in advance that planned roadworks were going to close the road outside the pub at 21:00.  However, an hour before the meeting, we were advised that the road was actually going to close at 20:00 on the night of our meeting.  Although the idea of a “lock-in” might seem attractive, the idea of being trapped there overnight did not appeal.  So, this made for a short meeting with everyone back in their cars and on their way just before 20:00.  Nevertheless, we had a good turnout for a winter meeting and we were able to discuss the Section plans for the coming year. Thank you to everyone who came along.
