Thursday the 28th November 24 – QUIZ Night
At the Moat London Road, Wrotham, TN157RJ from 1900. Two bottles of Prosecco have been donated to the winners and you will be competing for the “Quiz Cup.” Please also if you wish bring your donations of long sell by date food for our Christmas appeal for the Medway food bank.
Sunday 8th December 2024 – Section Christmas Breakfast Meet
(Alfa at your discretion depending on weather) This time you are invited to dig out your Christmas jumpers, hats and tinsel for the last social of 2024 and let secretary or Barbs know if you wish to attend at 0900 Mama Feelgoods Unit 2, Chalk pit Farm, School Lane, Canterbury CT4 5EU. There are still a few places available for this event. This is also the last date where food donations can be made to our Christmas appeal. There is a wide range of breakfast menus on offer with alternatives such as Avocado on toast etc.
Saturday 11th January 2025 – Post Christmas Dinner
Weald of Kent Golf Course & Hotel Maidstone Rd, Headcorn, Ashford TN27 9PT. (All members and guests invited) Guest after Diner speaker – Guy Swarbrick, PCD Quiz for the coveted trophy & member contributed raffle. Please be seated by 1900. Contact our section secretary for payment information.

2024 Past events:
Sat 20th January 2024 – Annual Post Christmas Dinner
(All friends and family Invited)at The Weald of Kent Golf Club and Hotel. The meal will be Italian and hotel rooms are available. Book at £33/head for the meal (the same price as last year but with added vegetarian options) There will also be an After Dinner Speaker in the form of the renowned Davie Peddie who will present a speech on “Designing, building and racing an Alfa Romeo race car.”

Thursday 22nd February 2024 – Our Annual General Meeting (AGM)
(All Invited) will be at the Moat from 7PM.
Saturday 6th April 2024 – Heritage show at Kent County Showground
(Any age of club Alfa – Please note booking instructions) We have been allocated 20 places after which we will run a reserve list.
Please let secretary know you wish to attend. Stating age of your car (pre-1990 Alfas will be free) how many passengers and children under 14. Once secretary has been informed and space for you has been confirmed (to avoid over booking)Please then contact the venue on 01622 633053 during business hours to pay the following ticket fees – Pre 1990 – free, Post 1990 – £5, Passengers – £10 each and under 14’s – £1.
This event is by advance booking only via secretary if you wish to exhibit with the section. Whether we exhibit in the prestigious indoor arena has yet to be decided by the
organisers – but is likely. Please remember to contact secretary first to ensure there is space for you.
Saturday 21st April 2024 – Drive out and lunch for drive it day
(Any age of club Alfa) A 37 mile tulip rally from West Malling and finishing with a roast lunch at the Peacock Inn, Cranbook.
Sunday 28th April 2024 – Headcorn Aerodrome Car show
(Any age of club Alfa) this costs around £3-50 and you have to buy a token to get out of the display area from the cafes …. you have to turn up early to get front row car parking for the resident Spitfire take off and landing, section display and antique air show including free fall parachuting. There are two cafes and a good museum around Kent’s WWII experience including a V1 flying bomb. Let Secretary know you are attending for e-mailed timings so we can display together.

Sunday 19th May 2024 – Faversham Festival of Transport
(Any age of Club Alfa) https://www.eventbrite.com/ and use the search facility to look up “Faversham Festival of Transport.” We are going to exhibit as part of the street show. The category you will need to book on is Classic/sports cars 1945 onwards the cost is £6-15 this will take you in through gate A. We will RV to arrive together to show together. https://www.eventbrite.com/
Please book as an individual entry and let secretary know to include you in emails to arrive together to display together emails. Please book under category Classic/sports post 1945. Entry is via Gate A.

Hever Castle (Any age of club Alfa) Just Let secretary know you wish to attend and you will be provided with a payment link around a month to 3 weeks before the event which the secretary will e-mail out to you individually. (Usually about £10) we have been allocated 40 spaces each day for this event. This is a stunning location in the castle gardens and a picnic is highly recommended in beautiful surroundings.

Saturday 22 nd June 2024 – Northiam Classic Car and Vehicle Show (any age of club Alfa.)
Another fine example of a Country show in the heart of the countryside. This event is proving very
popular over the last 3 years we have attended. The food, entertainment and stalls are excellent incl
a dog show and good children’s play area. The beer and Pimm’s tent is highly recommended. (Bring
a container to take away some pretty amazing Ale.) Contact secretary to attend. £5 donation on the
day.
Sunday 23rd June 2024 – Lydden Hill Race circuit & Classic Alfa Racing (Any age of club Alfa)
To book Club display stand tickets go to Historics On The Hill – Classic Car Show & Historic Racing – Lydden Hill (see email from the secretary for the discount code). Classic Alfa Racing, street food, free admittance to the paddock and 360 degree view of the racing. This has always been a well attended event. Let secretary know of attendance so display stand details can be provided.
Saturday 29 th June 2024 – Battle Bonfire Society (Any age of club Alfa)
Battle recreation ground TN33 0HA on Sat 29th June (entry by members between 0900 -1000)
There is no restriction on the age of your Alfa and the more exotic the better. Please let
me know if you will be attending so I can Liaise with the organiser for pitch size … entry
fee is by a donation at the gate and I agreed that £5/car seems reasonable as with all
other events we have attended of a similar “village feel” such as Northiam & Rye. Please
let secretary know to attend.

Sunday 14 th July 2024. Warlingham Classic Car & Bike Show (any age of club Alfa)
A little bit of visit to the Surrey borders on this event but nice to try something new that replaces the Bromley Pageant. Please book at https://www.warlinghamclassics.co.uk please book as individual entry by
21 st June Cut off date and we will arrange a display stand together. These tickets went live on the 1 st
Feb 24 and will be all gone very quickly. Please let secretary know so display size can be worked
out.

(Any age of club Alfa) this is now fully booked but contact secretary to be placed on the reserve list.
Sunday 21st July 2024 – Appledore
(Any age of Club Alfa) If you have been to Northiam, Rye, East Dean or any of the other intimate country village shows then this is very similar. Incl child’s play area and food stalls etc. Booking details TBC.

(Any age of club Alfa) Fill out entry form (available from secretary, your e-mails or download from Facebook) and post to organiser & make donation of £10.

To book please use the booking form at Woolton Farm’s Classic Car show 2024 This is in the East of the county and a good alternative to the above Coolings show in the West of the County on the same date. More info on the venue can be found at https://www.wooltonfarm.co.uk entry is free.

(any age of Club Alfa) we welcome the resurgence of this event that was discontinued in 2019 due to the Pandemic and was a fantastic show event. Please complete the application form for club entry (available from FB or secretary) this event is recommended.

Sunday 11th August 2024 – Brands Hatch Festival Italia
(Any age of club Alfa) – To book please go to Display My Vehicle (https://www.displaymyvehicle.com) you will need the code 1886 (please do not share the code as it’s what you pay your membership for.) You will also need to register your Alfa and submit your application. Once accepted (usually within a day) you follow the link provided to pay from the display my vehicle website. This is half price for the driver and car and you will also need to pay for passengers.
Although 50 places sounds a lot the places will soon get booked up so I hasten you all not to delay.
Sunday 11th August 2024 – Pistons and Paws Tenterden (any age of club Alfa)
If you cannot attend Festival Italia or Motors by the Moat on Sunday 11 th Of August 2024 then this is a very good alternative and is good example of a rural Country show with stalls, classic car show and a really

Rye & District Country Show – Saturday 17th August 2024, 10am – 4pm (ryeshow.org.uk) A rare example of a proper Country show with splendid classic car display (we display as a club together) and well worth
attending. Bookings are now live – application form attached or by download from Facebook.

(All Alfa Romeo) tickets from our main National Alfa Day event here.
Sunday 25th August 2024 – Sandwich goes Italian. (Any age of section Alfa)
Club stand exhibit in the centre of The Old town – which goes enthusiastically Italian! Good selection of restaurants & entertainment (any age of Club Alfa) .. let secretary know to attend this and receive RV instructions. It is free but limited to around 20-22 places. This event always has to run a reserve list and always gets fully booked. So please book up soonest.

Sunday 1st September 2024 – Bonnets and Wings Capel-Le-Ferne Battle of Britain Memorial (Pre-
1999 Alfas only)
This is a stunning location on the very edge of the white cliffs. A picnic with stunning vistas is possibly the best coastal location in Kent where frequent Spitfire fly over’s is de-rigeur. Cafe on site – Tickets from Car Shows & Entry Forms | ROMMCC. This show ALWAYS gets fully booked so early application is recommended.

Sunday 8th September 2024 – Edenbridge Motor Show (Any age of club Alfa)
Booking is now live online from https://www.ticketSource.co.uk which you should cut and paste into your browser and in the what’s on field type in Edenbridge Motor Show. Then complete the online form for club entry under Alfa Romeo Kent. The e-ticket is instantly downloadable and should be taken with you to gain
entry to the event and our display stand. £5 includes your Alfa and all passengers. Please let
secretary know if attending for pitch size.
