Christmas past and New Year
Happy New Year! To all in the Central Sussex section of AROC. I hope you had a good Christmas whether it was Spiritual or Err just spirit an all! Which ever way, hope it was good, time with the family, time to relax or time to just plan your Alfa Romeo activity for 2024.
As a section, we finished off our year and got the Christmas spirit into full swing with our Christmas lunch party on Sat December 2nd at the Railway Inn Portslade, chosen not only for its promising menu but also its close proximity to the railway station for those choosing to leave the car at home. It was a cold day, during a very cold spell which added to the seasonal feel, which continued in the room we were in, a little chilly. However, drinks, food and convivial conversation soon put the lack of warmth to the back of our minds. That promising looking menu I spoke about, well, not just promising, but delivered too! I dont think there was anyone who was not delighted with their, meal, although roast potatoes and Yorkshire puds with salmon en-croute was a little odd!
