August 2021 Meeting
Our August meeting saw a return to Pamphill Hall, an interesting old wooden building with a skittle alley near Kingston Lacy. An enjoyable summer evening was spent with a fine turnout of beautiful Alfas to admire and another excellent barbeque provided by Ian and Joanne Brookfield (Italian style sausages this time !). As the light faded, we moved indoors to the skittle alley where a lengthy knockout tournament of “Killer” ensued with the number or participants slowly reducing to eventually produce a winner. At this point, I am slightly embarrassed to report that the winner on this occassion was myself, narrowly beating Brian Gill in second place !
