AROCI SPRING RUN 2017
Our first section outing of the year took place on Sunday 9th April which was a run up the Dublin and Wicklow mountains.
Some 15 cars assembled on an overcast morning at our starting point in Avoca in Saggart between 10.30 and 11.30am. We were also joined by a 4C and a Guilia 2.9 V6 cloverleaf at the start which generated alot of interest and admiring looks.
Around 11.30 we made our way in convoy up to the Guinness Estate at Lugalla via the Sally Gap to stretch the legs and have some photo opportunities, after a brief stop we were on our way again and travelled to the Glenmalure Hotel via Laragh for some refreshments and lunch arriving at approx 2pm
After a 2 hour stop at Glenmalure it was on the road again to the Woodenbridge Hotel for some afternoon refreshents departing 5pm for our return home.
A big thank you to all those who attended from Eddie and the committee and we look forward to seeing some more members at the upcoming TI Auto’s track day in Mondello on 13th May
