April Monthly News Letter

What a busy few weeks we have had!
Starting off with the Sunday Lunch at are old friends The Old Ram Coaching Inn on the A140, a good selection of cars and 24 sat down to eat drink and chat, some faces and characters too! Liobk to our fb page of images below;

Next up was an Italian cars and Coffee at the Liberator Café at Old Buckenham Airfield on the 30th March, another great turnout of cars (23 at least) and folks. Lots of Alfas Fiats a Maserati and even a Lancia 8.32 came out to play, more photos below;

Well as we were on a roll! The 7th April saw us in the west of the region at the Pike and Eel at Needingworth near St Ives for another Italian Cars and Coffee hosted by AROC East Anglia and brilliantly organised by Tony Wort, one of the section committee members. Tony got a fabulous group of cars together, probably around 40, plenty of Alfas, inc. 4c, Giulia’s, Sud Sprints Alfetta, 105’s 115’s Stelvio 159’s the lot plus a 1900 race car brought by Brunswick Motorsport! There were Fiat 500’s modern and a couple of the dinky originals, Abarths, Lancia, X19’s a Ferrari, Lambrettas and Vespas for the scooter lovers and then to top the lot and ISO Griffo. We will be doing this again later in the year. Well done Tony. Full image album below;

Coming Up
Thursday 25th April, Monthly Meet, 7pm The Queens Head, Rede Rd, Hawkedon, Bury Saint Edmunds IP29 4NN. The classic evening do for those that cant rise in time for a Cars & Coffee! Its been a while since we’ve been to Hawkedon so good to be back, the foods good too!!
Sunday 28th April, Spring Alfa Day, Yorkshire Wildlife Park
Sunday 12th May 12 noon Fish and Chips with the Essex Section, Flora Tea Rooms, Beach Road, Dunwich, Saxmundham, Suffolk, IP17 3EN Fish and Chips and a stomp down the beach, round the Museum about Dunwich’s history or just wander round the village and ruins.
Wednesday 29th May, 7pm Monthly Pub Meet, Meet The Rushbrooke Arms, Sicklesmere, Suffolk, IP30 0BU, CONFIRMED!
Now I know it’s a way off, but im going to need to know if you want to come to the Helmingham Hall Festival of Classic and Sports Cars as soon as possible. Video of previous event below, do let me know pronto!
