One of the cars specially prepared for the new CTCRC Pre 2005 Production series was this pretty 156. Colin Gibbons is a former Formula Ford competitor and it was his first race meeting for about 15 years.

"I was very pleased with the way it went. We do need to get some weight out of the car as it is some 150kg over the limit. When you think of the number of championships the 156 has won all over the world it is the car to be considered for this new series".

"My fastest lap in the race was four seconds better than qualifying and only half a second off the two Peugeots which are so much lighter. It is very promising", said Colin.
