July 2019 Meeting
For our July meeting, we held our annual Show and Shine fun concours competition. The event was again sponsored by Peter Smart Classic Alfas and this year returned to the Langton Arms at Tarrant Monkton. Set deep in the Dorset countryside in a idyllic village setting, this thatched pub has the benefit of a large field where we can display our cars.
Ultimately, a total of 21 Alfa Romeos were displayed together with a very welcome interloper in the form of a beautiful 1967 Lancia Flaminia.
The Show and Shine competition was judged by Peter and Ian Brookfield and, after some careful consideration, the following winners were announced for the best presented car in each of six age groups. Each winner received a certificate, a goodie bag and a bottle of Prosecco.
