I acquired this car in November 2018 from another enthuisiast in Fofar, NE Scotland. He had ownership for around a year, buying it from a garage in SE England and getting it transported up. The car lived in London for a while, and was apparently owned by a cello player. It has a Guest Alfa Romeo number plate surround, and spent much of it's early life in the Midlands. There is parital service history prior to my ownership. This car is of interest as it was one of three Alfa Romeo press cars, used when Alfa released the Phase II 916 Spider with the legendary Busso V6. The registration plate, X915 ARD (Alfa Romeo Demonstrator) refers to this. Sadly, I dont have X916 ARD, which was listed on the DVLA last time I checked.. This particular car was given a fair and favourable review  by Paul Horrell in Car Magazine in April 2001, where it got four stars and was praised for its character, throttle response and steering feel, despite it getting on in years compared to the likes of the Audi TT and Merc SLK. I use the car regularly in the summer, where it appears at various Scottish shows, and on dry days in the winter, and it lives in a garage. I do the simple servicing myself, and the tricky jobs and MOT go to CP Garage down in Dundee. The Busso sounds spectacular with the roof down on those sunny days. During my ownership,  I've replaced the catalytic converter, cat lambda sensors, rear springs, shocks, spring pans, ABS circuit board, oil cooler and fitted a cat back Wizard exhaust system. CP have carried out a belt change, front lower wishbone, a rear brake calliper and a driveshaft boot. All this work has been preventative as needed.
