Time in Jersey
The car was first registered in Jersey 1996. It stayed in the same family for 20 years before being sold to a classic car enthusiast still on the island. The very low mileage is simply due to the fact it was on the island for so long. The car was acquired by a UK classic car dealer in 2019 and was well maintained with good documentation of work while there . I bought the car from the dealer in 2020 with 22700 miles on the clock. The condition of the car is very good but not concourse. The complete lack of rust anywhere, is no doubt due to the island weather.

Arrival
Due to Covid, the car was bought unseen, except for the extensive photos sent from the seller. However, those and the sellers history was enough to convince me that all should be OK. The only issue was the tyres, these were all badly cracked, and when I got them changed within the first week, the garage informed that they were pretty sure that they were all original ! I also got to see the car on the ramp , and was delighted to see that the underside was very good, no rust at all. The car ran and drove very well. Car was also registered with the UK DVLA and received a 1996 UK plate.

Service History
The car arrived with a full service history, with 12 stamps in the service book. I have serviced yearly since then, also replacing the auxiliary drive belt in 2020 and cam belt in 2024.
