History
This car is a 1.4 Giulietta Exclusive. It was originally registered in Bristol in 2015. The first owner was Alfa Romeo and it is likely that the car was a management car. I bought the car when it was a year old and it had about 11,000 miles on the clock. It now has just over 45,000 miles.
The engine is a 1.4 Multiair. It is the slightly rare 170hp variant. It also feature the TCT six speed automatic gearbox. This car also has the rare paddle switch gearchange.
The road tax for this car is only £35 per year. In the eight years of ownership, I have only paid a total of about £250 in road tax.
This car is extremely rare. It is finished in an Alfa colour called Metallo Bronze. This colour was only offered in 2014 and 2015 and there were few takers. I am only aware of three other Giulietta's in this colour. There must be others out there, but the total number must be low. Metallo Bronze is not everyone's favourite colour, but when the car has been washed and polished, it does look good on a sunny day. I have had various compliments about the car's colour.
So far, the only issues that I have had with car were to due to lack of use. As I did not use the car for long periods, the battery ran down and did not have enough power to start again. I have recently changed the battery to an Exide unit, which works extremely well.
As it only does about 4000 miles per year, it gets serviced once a year. The servicing costs are reasonably low. It has recently had two new Pirelli tyres fitted and two new rear shock absorbers. The cambelt was changed a few years ago and is probably due for replacement soon.
The car is a regular attender at Alfa Romeo Owners Club events. It has been to most of the National Alfa and Spring Alfa days over the past eight years. Must recently, it braved particularly wet weather at the club's Spring Alfa Day event at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park.
