History
Built in 1973 in South Africa, my car was 'restored' there in about 2015. It's solid and was possibly originally yellow but the repsray in what's probably a Ferrari red isn't great and most, but not all, of the original trim and interior was refitted.
I bought the car from a South African friend in 2016 and since then have spent time and money making it more reliable and more enjoyable. I hate concours cars so like the fact it's tidy enough, goes well but isn't so original that I'm worried about having fun in it.
It has had:
- New Classic Alfa carpets
- Fuel flap profile, etc
- New wiper motor
- New wiring loom
- Four seat belts fitted
- New fuel sender
- New heater matrix
- Alfaholics fast road rear suspension
- Alfaholics fast road front suspension
- Koni shocks all round
- New clutch master cylinder
- Five Alfaholics 15" wheels and Bridgestone tyres
- Alfaholics aluminium carb mounts
- Peter Smart complete engine rebuild including replacement block
The next jobs are to sort a few body work issues, particularly the boot lid.
