History cloverleaf

Built in 1973 in South Africa, my car was 'restored' there in about 2015. It's solid and was possibly originally yellow but the repsray in what's probably a Ferrari red isn't great and most, but not all, of the original trim and interior was refitted.

I bought the car from a South African friend in 2016 and since then have spent time and money making it more reliable and more enjoyable. I hate concours cars so like the fact it's tidy enough, goes well but isn't so original that I'm worried about having fun in it.

It has had:

  • New Classic Alfa carpets
  • Fuel flap profile, etc
  • New wiper motor
  • New wiring loom
  • Four seat belts fitted
  • New fuel sender
  • New heater matrix
  • Alfaholics fast road rear suspension
  • Alfaholics fast road front suspension
  • Koni shocks all round
  • New clutch master cylinder
  • Five Alfaholics 15" wheels and Bridgestone tyres
  • Alfaholics aluminium carb mounts
  • Peter Smart complete engine rebuild including replacement block

The next jobs are to sort a few body work issues, particularly the boot lid.
