Spider (Type 939) 2006 - Current

Last summer we went to from here (Chideock, Bridport) to Cornwall and cruised around, met y surfing relatives and had a very  sunny trip delightful to remember. Bring on summer again please!

Every summer we go to Moussac which is near Cahors in SW France. Its ideal for the Alfa as it cruises down and around the french roads. I also attended this year the Brera Spider Touring cup all around Alsace, Black Forest and Switzerland with a  detour into Austria, this car is so good to drive in these great places!

My lovely silver 2.2 JTS Spider has travelled far and wide under my ownerhip with an annual trip to the south of France of every year. This is plus the Brera Touring Cup 2024.  Always dry stored as far back as anyone can rememeber it.  Belonged to an enthusiast Brian in Somerton before me. He hardly used it. Since i have had it I have used it very regularly. I've done the following things manily to improve its driveability and reliability. mostly chez Lawrence Autolusso unless metioned

1. Front Subframe Removed and Renovated 2021
2. New Suspension Poly Bushes 2021 transformed steering
3. New Coil Packs 2022
4. Fuel Injectors 2023 this cured all hesitation, car was transformed
5. Flap Motors 2023 and
6. Hood Gas Stuts 2023 
7. New Cam Chain 2024 (preventative maintenance) 
8. Renovated Clutch Master Cylinder 2024 - much improved by lightness and driving feel
9. Power Steering Hose 2023 (Capozzoli)
10. New Comp Drillled Vented Discs and Yellow Spot Brake Pads 2024
11.  New Battery (Silver Bosch) 2024
12. Remapped @ Celtic 2021
13. Oil Changes Correct Oil Annually 
14. Paint Corrected And Treated Professionally, Valeted 2023
15. LED rear number plate lights (looks great now) stopped bulb errors

Plus lots of other things as well.  I just adore driving it and go on club meetings all over Wessex Somerset and Devon AROC groups.
