How Many Left? According to How Many Left there are only 9 Super Lusso V6's left, although how many Manuals left on the road is unknown. (Although this data should be taken with a pinch of salt)

EARLY LIFE: My 166 has led an exciting life, originally purchased by an Italian chef based in London who exported the car to Italy for a few years before being brought back. It also took part in the Alfa Centenary World Record attempt for the longest convoy, with many different apperances in Alfa Romeo car meets since the mid-2000s. Some of my favourite photos show the car around Brooklands. I am now the 9th owner and have been fortunate enough to make friends with 6 of these previous owners, all with their own fantastic stories and adventures with this brilliant car.

SERVICE HISTORY & UPGRADES: This 166 has full service history, amounting to nearly £30,000 in bills throughout its life. Fortunately much of this is routine servicing although it has been treated to a few upgrades such as a full stainless steel Ragazzon exhauast, upgraded speakers/amps and lowered Eibach shocks and springs. In my ownership the car has demanded little, the most expensive job was simply having upgraded drilled and groved disks and a new FR caliper.

THE NUMBERPLATE: One of the first things people notice about the car is the numberplate (AR51AZZ) which I read as ARSI ASS, this plate is weirdly non-transferable and the best bit of history I have is an email from 2002 from Desira Alfa Romeo of Surrey responding to the owner's complaints about this "less than suitable" numberplate. Even if I could change the plate, I wouldn't.

THE BONNET: Unfortunately many may see the crinked bonnet... this was caused by an old, frozen gas strut which I foolishly fought against and ended up damaging. So far I am unsure whether to replace or repair, repair costs are over £700 while a replacement would probably not match perfectly with the rest of the car. For now I will simply leave it as a reminder to not be impatient with my cars.
