History
- Originally imported fromSouth Africa in 2016, this right hand drive Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce,previously owned by the Chairman of the Johannesburg Alfa Romeo Owner's Club,
- presented inAlfa Romeo Rosso with black leather seats and Campagnolo alloy wheels.
There Is evidence that the Spider was originally blue and has been over coated in its current colour.
The car was purchased via Historic Auctions, in the same year and treated too a full , back to metal,2 year restoration, which is well documented.
Upon completion of the restoration work, the then owner undertook a European tour through France, Switzerland and Italy with no mechanical issues reported.
The car was then used locally, until Covid restrictions lead to the car being laid up, until being sold via auction in 2023.
Fortunately I've only had to do basic maintenance since then, and a recent MOT found no issues apart from a small area of underbody that hadn't been waxoyled.
