Initial Purchase cloverleaf

I first bought Epic, my 2011 159 Ti Sportwagen on 12 June 2021. He's a 2.0 JTDM Diesel in white with, I believe, a fairly rare spec, being white with the tan leather. I certainly haven't seen many others in this colour spec.  Having owned company cars for 17 years and changing jobs due to covid, I decided I would buy I car I wanted, for a change! Having not owned an Alfa since my mid 20's it was a bit of a gamble but one that has throughly paid off!! I love it and I'm back thoroughly in the mold, now. My life with Epic started off a little auspiciously, as a month of ownership in, I received a polite nod from the previous owner telling me that on the test drive i'd been caught speeding in Epic!! Oops! I happily owned up and paid the fine, of course! This 'modern' Alfa varies massively from the GTV6, and two Bertone GTV's I owned back in my 20's, 1 a 2000GTV and one a series 2 1750GTV. I've found I can no longer afford those cars!! I'll soon hopefully be back into classic ownership again though. Since I bought this my wife has also found she loves Alfa's and has traded her Merc E class Convertible in for a far more sporty and chuckable '66 plate Giulietta Speciale, which is also featured on this page. Take a look!  It's been great for us, joining the Derbyshire section and being made to totally feel welcome, so thanks all involved in our great little club!!

New Wheels! cloverleaf

Well, not strictly new, but to restore all the previous owners curb damage, I had them restored and re- coated in Lamborghini Imola Bronze. Not to everyone's taste, but I like them and they match closer the tan interior.

Recent work cloverleaf

Recent work  has all been completed at Northern Alfa Performance, apart from the wheel colour change to Lamborghini Imola Bronze (Carried out by The Wheel Specialist, Sheffield Branch)

It's had all new brake pads and discs all round, with new rear calipers, too, plus Eibach springs, new top and bottom front arms, lots of little niggly bits that all Alfa's seem to need, such as dip stick seal, and some other bits and bobs. He's also had a new steering joint and obviously full services for the last 3 years  and tyres, etc. Next up will be new Bilstein shockers all round.

The latest work carried out was a complete underside clean down and full wax protection. Preservation for the future!
