Giulia (Type 105) 1962-1993

This 1750GTV Mk1 was sold in 1968 by McCairns Motors in Dublin. It was driven by the first owner, Thomas Gaffney, for 75,000 miles in the following three years and then dismantled with a view to mechanical repairs. Everything was stored until I acquired it in 1989. I had the body restored, etch primed and painted by Dungan Brothers of Ballyboughal; the engine and gearbox rebuilt by Alan Bennet of Benalfa with new crankshaft, pistons, liners and bearings; and the interior restored by TA and JM Coburn. I put the car on the road in 2005 and since then I have driven about 13,000 miles trouble free. I had the outer and middle sills replaced in 2015. I share ownership of the car with Thomas Gaffney's son Kevin.
