1st year cloverleaf

Ordered in August 2022 a week after NAD, I already had the test drive booked before I knew they were bringing the Tonale to the event. Before the Tonale I owned a 2018 Stelvio 280 speciale. I collected the Tonale on 3rd Febuary 2023. I switched from the Stelvio because it just wasn't getting used enough resulting in all of the known battery issues, and I was only getting 16MPH on my short commute to work, so I decided to go with the MHEV Tonale.

First thing to say its obviously not as quick as the Stelvio but its quick enough and handles really well on twisty B roads. I was plesantly supprised on my test drive, especailly when in D mode.

There have been a few niggles wiith the car, over sensetive front avoidance system warnings, headlight auto main beam,  but these have all now been sorted out with softare updates at the first service. There were also 3 recalls on the car at 1st service, none that caused any issues with everyday use and they were all successfully sorted.

I have enjoyed the first year with the Tonale, it is a proper Alfa, it puts a smile on my face every time I drive it and I always look back at it when walking away after parking. I like the touch screen in the centre and the programable dials etc on the main dashboard, a vast improvement on my Stelvio. Every thing is familiar, and controls are easily to hand being a similar layout to the Stelvio. A nice feature is the row of physical buttons under the touch screen.
