159 (939) 2005 - 2011

On Saturday 25th August 2012 after an extended road test we became the proud 😊 owners of an Alfa 159 purchased from Allams of Epsom in Surrey.

Approximate mileage on the clock when purchased was 40,400.       The car had a complete service, had the timing belt & water pump replaced & 2 new tyres replaced before we collected it.

The car was manufactured in October 2007 & 1st registered on Wednesday 28th November 2007.

Engine:   2.4jtdm.    Transmission:    Automatic.      Trim:    Lusso.       Colour Code:   Alfa red.  289.

The car has been well maintained :

Engine oil & filter services every year with Fuel filter, Pollen filter replaced when scheduled.  I have had a K & N air filter fitted.

Brake fluid  &  AC re gas  completed when scheduled.     Automatic transmission fluid changed 2022. 

Timing belt & water pump replacement every 4 years.

In 2017 the complete suspension system was completely overhauled with Powerflex bushes.    Bilstein shocks & Eibach springs were fitted.    Both front & rear subframes were wax oil treated as was the inner wheel arches & the underside of the car.    The under side of the car & subframes are checked every year & treated as necessary.

In 2019 Wizard back boxes & “Y” pipe fitted.

In 2021 as well as the usual timing belt replacement I had the “Swirl flaps” removed & EGR blanked & plated & re mapped. 

Recent tyres fitted & the wheel alignment was re checked & again set to parallel.
