Route distance approx. 135miles.
Meet from 8:30, convoy departs 9:45
After the success of the inaugural Wales Run in 2024, event mastermind Daniel Thomas has devised another, this time over a different and even more spectacular route!
The plan for the day is to meet at The Old Post Inn, a large café in the countryside between Cardiff and Bridgend, departing in convoy, supported by a detailed route guide.
This meeting point avoids the challenge of exiting a city centre with all the traffic lights and junctions, and allowing the cars to stay together, and for all to enjoy the sights and sounds of Alfa Romeos travelling in convoy swooping along some of the UK’s most beautiful open roads.
Participants can arrive at the start from 08:30 and the convoy will depart at 09:45
It’s a wonderful route, travelling 135mile route which carves its way through the best of South Wales’ mountains and hills. It will finish at the well-known ‘Devil’s Bridge’ at, Pontarfynach, not far from Aberystwyth.
People are of course free to split from the convoy if they cannot spare the full time to complete it.
There’s NO COST to take part, it’s all included in your Club membership, and people are free to bring friends and family as passengers.
As an added attraction at the start point, a Supercar Club will be meeting from 9am, so as well as a host of beautiful Alfas there will be some other great driving machines to see – including Italian ones of course. All Alfa Romeos are very welcome.
