Filching Manor Motor Museum Visit

We are pleased to announce a visit to Filching Manor Motor Museum, Jevington Road, Polegate BN26 5QA, which has been arranged for Sunday, 11th October 2026. Arrival should be by 10:30 am when our host, Karl Foulkes Halbard, will take us on a tour of this little gem of a museum, which contains a diverse collection of veteran and classic cars, motor bikes and other fascinating motoring memorabilia; see the flyer here. One very special highlight is Bluebird K3, in which Sir Malcolm Campbell broke the world water speed record three times in the late 1930’s. The museum is open by appointment for group visits only so this is an opportunity not to be missed.

A food stall will be on site to provide freshly barbecued burgers, bacon rolls and hot dogs as well as homemade cakes, coffee, tea and other refreshments. Vegetarian options will also be available. Money raised from the sale of the food and drink will be donated to a local charity so, in the Goodwood tradition, please arrive with a healthy appetite! Payment for the refreshments will be by cash only as no card facilities will be available on site. Please note that the museum is housed across various outbuildings which are not heated so you should come prepared if the weather is unkind to us.

The cost of entry is £10.00 per person. Please send your payment by Wednesday, 30th September. No tickets will be issued, but you will be sent a confirmation email once your email and payment have been received.
