April Monthly News Letter

Hi All
I trust you are well and your pride and joys are fettled ready for the summer!
We had two events in March firstly a lunch at The Old Ram at Tivetshall which was a great success as ever, with 27 sitting down for lunch, a nice selection of cars in the car park too. Nathan Mahony the clubs GT Registrar drove up from London so it was good that we had 4 GT’s in a row.
Next up was our Italian Cars and Coffee at Old Buckenham Airfield with teas and bacon rolls, or a full English for those that wanted by Station 144 café. Somehow our booking had ended up on the wrong day (not guilty) but they managed to get round everyone. Another good selection of Alfas and one of each Ferrari, Lancia and a Fiat plus a Clan Clover with a mid mounted Sud engine!
Our next cars and coffee, and they are seeming to be very popular, is at The Pike and Eel, Needingworth St Ives on Saturdsay 12 April, the last two have been a huge success, wet or dry, details in What’s Next
As ever images on the section Facebook page and AROC website, do have a look at the albums on the Facebook page, you’ll get a fair idea of what we get up to and the array of cars attending.

I have been asked by David one of our westerly section members to make you aware of this Several of us in the LINCS AROC section encouraged by Niall Shaw (AROC Lincs organiser) have been attending Ignition Cars and Coffee https://www.ignitioncarsandcoffee.co.uk/ its on the Burghley estate at Tinwell Stamford. It’s a monthly weekend meet 09.00 – 12.30 costs a fiver to book in the next one is April 5th meets carry on throughout the year.
Usually 90+ cars of all sorts Alfas bit thin on the ground we need more to dilute the mass of Porsches, very good café serving bacon and sausage baps and proper coffee, friendly atmosphere.
Maybe the more westerly based members of the E Anglia section may be interested in coming?
