August 4th Sumemr Drive out in the New Forest

Nigel planned an excellent evening drive out to take advantage of the continuing good weather & light evenings. Starting at the St. Leonards Hotel, we crossed under the A31 at Picket Post, continued through Burley, along the route of the old Castleman Corkscrew to Setthorns, before turning right into the outskirts of Sway, where we stopped for an evening natter and some food at the Hare & Hounds.
 
15 Alfas from a 1960s Bertie to a Prodrive Brera filled the car park and the road outside. Much conversation on recent Centenary events took place with some excellent food, and a chance for new members to see what we get up to!
