June 10 Meet – “Blag a Ride”
Our first event of this type pulled in a fantastic selection of cars at the White Hart Inn Cadnam. Here is Nigel's comment on the night…
"Hi Alfsti, If you missed or were unable to attend last Wednesday’s Wessex club night – you missed a high octane night to remember. Where possible it is my aim to arrange events that include driving our cars and allowing others to experience either a classic car or understanding the ethos behind Alfa Romeo.
It was the inaugural running of ‘Blag a Ride’ – the idea being to experience a ride in each others cars. So imagine our ‘drooling’ when greeted with an Alfa 8C Competizione & Ferrari Dino GT, Alfa Guilia GT Junior, Alfa Brera S, Alfa GT, Alfa 156 GTA, Alfa 156 TS Selespeed. The evening was sunny and warm which allowed everyone to enjoy the cars disappearing up the road and passenger seat rides.
I think everyone who attended felt it was a great success ( that is judging by the ‘ear to ear’ grins ) and we will undoubtedly run the event again next year"
