A CALL TO ARMS…

Potential AROC Members Only Track Day – April 16th 2025

Have you ever been tempted to take your Alfa on a track to see how it behaves at higher than road-legal speeds but been put off by having to share the track with random people who may not care too much about their cars (or others on the track)?

The exclusive motor club track days are far more enjoyable than general open track days for the following reasons:

The drivers all care about their cars

Much fewer cars on track at one time

Cars separated in groups according to power/weight/era

No race cars testing with road cars

Much better overtaking etiquette – by invitation only

Drive as fast or slow as you feel comfortable, it doesn’t matter if you want to bumble round and enjoy the view, or experiment with on-throttle mid-corner turning (although drifting is not allowed!)

Can you imagine an AROC members track day where we have the track and facilities to ourselves for the whole day to share the joy of driving Alfa Romeos of all eras, in the paddocks and restaurant as much as out on track?

If this thought is appealing to you, then we ask that you book a place on the track day we are organising.

We have the opportunity  take an entire day at Castle Combe, for £190 per car/ driver on 16th April 2025. Additional drivers £20, passengers are free but will need to attend the safety briefing.

It’s a 100dB day. Sessioned in the morning, 15 minutes per session, 12 cars on track per session.

Cars should be MOT compliant and roadworthy but there is no scrutineering,  only a static noise test.

Track prepared cars are allowed, so are SUV so the Stelvio, Tonale and Junior are all OK.

Race cars are ok, but no slick tyres. Likelihood is that they’ll be grouped together, along with track prepared cars and higher output vehicles.

All drivers will need to have a full UK driving licence.

Spiders are ok, roof up or down, drivers just need to have arms and legs covered.

We will split cars into groups based on performance or ability but this will be decided nearer the event based on participants.

Space is limited to 48 cars.

We are also hoping to have some of the Alfa Championship’s drivers on hand offering tuition throughout the day.

Places will be available via Ticket Tailor and should be booked before January 1st.

We realise this is incredibly short notice, but the track dates have only just been released for next year and we need to secure this date by beginning of January.

Should we not make 48 cars, all monies paid will be fully refunded.
