Sherborne Classics and Supercars Show, July 16th
The Sherborne Classics and Supercars Show returned on July 16th and, as in recent years, we arranged a joint AROC stand for the Wessex, Somerset and West Wilts Sections. A total of 25 Alfa Romeos were displayed on the stand with a huge variety of models ranging from a late 1950s Giulietta Sprint to a 2022 Stelvio QF.
In addition to the Alfas on our club stand a number of others were dotted around the show including a Duetto and an S2 Spider, a 105 GTV, two 916 Spiders and a 4C ! And, as usual, as well as the Alfa Romeos, we were treated to large displays of other marques across the huge showground.
Unlike the hot sunny weather of last year, this year we had a much cooler day with intermittent sun and heavy showers. So the Wessex gazebo, instead of acting as a sunshade, did good service this year as a rain shelter !
Well done everyone who attended for bringing along such a great array of beautiful Alfas !
