May 2018 Meeting
For our May meeting, we were invited by Snows, the new Alfa dealer in Southampton, to an Open Evening at their new showroom. The evening was well supported by the Section membership with 34 members showing up, bringing around 25 Alfa Romeos of all ages, ranging from two 105 Giulia Supers through to a new Giulia QV. The weather co-operated and we enjoyed a warm and sunny May evening. Snows had cleared a large parking area in front of the showroom, making for an enticing display of older Alfas to contrast with the shiny new cars in the showroom.
Indoors, the beautiful new showroom showed the cars to their best advantage with a great display of new Alfas including two Giulias, two Stelvios and a 4C.
With pizza, cakes and drinks to kept everyone refreshed, an enjoyable evening was had by all and we record our thanks to Allan Lamb and his team at Snows for organising the evening
