June 2018 Meeting
For our June meeting, we returned to a favourite pub, the Langton Arms in Tarrant Monkton. Set deep in the Dorset countryside in a idyllic village setting, this thatched pub has the benefit of a large field where we can display our cars. This meeting was special as we hosted a group of Dutch and German Alfa enthusiasts visiting as part of their “Tour of Wessex” organised for them by Wessex Section members, Brian Gill and Peter Coates. A glorious warm and sunny spring evening ensued and we enjoyed the company of our new friends, admiring each others cars and enjoying a nice dinner. Each of the seven Dutch and German car owners was presented with a Wessex Section flag as a memento of their visit which was appreciated. We are now looking forward to meeting them again at the Spettacolo Sportivo in Zaandvoort in August which a number of Wessex members are planning to attend.
