Club Trip to Lisburn
Some AROCI club members made a trip to Lisburn on the 25th May for a car show organised by the Northern Ireland Italian Motor Club (NIIMC) celebrating their 10th anniversary.
After an early start about 17 cars arrived in convoy at the show in the Lagan Valley Island venue in Lisburn. We received a warm welcome from club secretary Tim Logan and were given an area to park together.
There were approximately 80 cars at the show ranging from a pre-war fiat to the new Ferrari FF with even a BMW and some Porche’s in attendance.
The weather could not have been better and there was a steady stream of visitors over the course of the day. To crown off the day Gerry Campbell won the overall prize for the best car in show with his 1964 Giulia Spider which just pipped Owen Cookes Montreal to win the award.
Well done Gerry………
