September Monthly Newsletter 2019

East Anglia
1 September 2019

Hi All.

It seems I’m going to repeat myself! That was a busy and successful month!

We started with the Suffolk drive on the 25th August, leaving from Bury St Edmunds and ending up at the Rose in Shotley. Malcolm’s route was a cracker, I’ve lived in Suffolk all my life and never been down half those roads! I’d forgotten just how pretty Needham Market is. We all parked up at The Rose who made us most welcome, the roast beef and crumble on the hottest bank holiday weekend on record may have been a mistake on our part!Images at the bottom;

The next event was a first for us and them, Classic Cars at Glemham Hall, on the 1st September. There was a few teething problems but easily sorted for next year. Don’t wear sandals either, there was a good crop of thistles!

We made a great line up of 20 Alfas in total 21 when we added a rather fine yellow Dino! Images below

For those I haven’t bored to death about my Alfetta restoration, here is a photo of it fresh from the paint shop!
