East Anglia
4 August 2020

Hi All

I trust you are all well.

As you will probabaly remember our Norfolk drive in May was meant to end at the Ox and Plough at Old Buckenham for their Classic Car Day.Sadly that was a victim of the pandemic.

Well it seems they have re scheduled it into;

Italian Car and Bike Day on the 22nd August, 10am-7pm see links below;

As the club is not keen on sections organising their own events due to the complexities involved in getting permission and i believe the clubs insurers concerns over liability at events we have decided to postpone the Suffolk Drive on the 23rd August until next year and to join this event instead, well as its all Italian it would seem rude not to!

I will contact to organisers to try and arrange a pitch and any requirements. It will be a fairly informal affair but if you can let me know as soon as possible I can let the organisers know numbers.

If anyone else  is interest in coming to Classics at Glemham please let me know as soon as possible, 19 cars so far and rising!

Classics at Glemham is definitely on! Sunday 6th September 2020.

See below for details, I will also be sending out their full Covid requirements for clubs to adhere to later which allows these large scale events to go ahead.

If you watch the video, you’ll see the club gets a good ‘mention’ and you’ll recognise a few familiar faces!

I will need full details of those wishing to attend;

Name

Vehicle reg

Make

Model

Colour

Year

Number of people in the car.

I will also need five of your pounds sterling (not £6 as stated on their website, and all the five pounds goes to Children in Need) as I have to pay upfront for all those attending, the fiver covers car, driver and three passengers. If you can let me know by Sunday the 9th August so stand size can be allocated.

Post fivers or cheques (email me if you’d rather do a bank transfer) to Graham Simper, Broadview House, 65 High Street, Debenham, Suffolk, IP14 6QS

You can book and pay through their website, but be sure you say you want to display on the Alfa Romeo Owners Club East Anglia stand.

I will send out more details as I get them.

If anyone is interested in a good set of 916 Spider wheels 16” with very good Toyo  Proxes see images below, £90 for the four, the tyres alone must be worth that! Call Chris on 07858400592.

I hope to see you all soon
