AROC Victor Ludorum 2017
As a current member of the Club competing in an Alfa, you are eligible so register now for the 2017 Victor
Ludorum which will run from 1st March to 1st November 2017 and will include separate classes for Racing,
Rallying and Hill Climbs & Sprints. Registration is free and these events do not need to be AROC events. You
can register at any time during the season.
Race classes will be divided according to engine size:
A) Over 2,000cc
B) 1,601cc to 2,000cc
C) Up to and including 1,600cc
Points will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places (1st and 2nd places only if there are 6 or fewer starters) and will
be multiplied by 1.5 for international races. There will be a single rallying class and a combined class for hill
climbs and sprints.
Once the season has begun I’ll ask for copies of your official results for each entry you wish to be included. The table of
results will be published in each issue of the magazine along with a short summary of where each driver has
been competing so please let me have photographs of your car and yourself for publication please. If, at any
time, you would like to write more for the Club magazine please contact me so that it can be scheduled in.
At the end of the season there’ll be a winner for each class and there will also be a Winning Winner. Javelin
Trackdays have been kind enough to offer a free track day (date and venue to be agreed) to that lucky winner
and Chris Knott Insurance is supporting us with prizes for second and third overall. The Club Victor Ludorum
trophy will be presented on the Club stand at the NEC Classic Car Show in November.
