South West Alfa Day Tickets Now Available
We are delighted to announce that tickets to South West Alfa Day 2023 at the Haynes Motor Museum on 16th September are now available.
Entry to this event is by advance ticket only. Please do not turn up without a ticket as there will be no facility to pay on the gate.
The AROC Devon Section is delighted to be hosting SWAD at Haynes Motor Museum on Sat 16th Sept from 9.30 – 15.30. Entry by pre-paid ticket only at £15 per adult and £10 per child (non-member rates also available) which includes full access to the fabulous motor museum. This represents up to 25% saving on standard Museum entry. Refreshments and food available in the on site cafe and catering facilities. Conveniently located just off A303 near Yeovil (BA22 7LH). Non members are welcome to join us too but must be in an Alfa Romeo – please do not buy a non member ticket if you won’t be in an Alfa.
Haynes Motor Museum at Sparkford near Yeovil in Somerset, England, contains over 400 cars and motorcycles and a collection of other automobilia. It was established in 1985 by John Harold Haynes OBE.
The museum also has an outdoor children’s play area, adventure climbing frame, Interactive garage and mini road system with ride-on cars, motorcycle rocker, functional AA and telephone boxes, and air and water depot, Themed Play Towers including a double-decker bus, camper van, ice-cream van and jeep Construction Zone with Super Diggers (a small additional charge applies) and themed play towers including excavator, dumper and digger. There are also Little Tikes baby car strollers. Let the little ones drive themselves around the Museum giving you time to enjoy the exhibits!
Also included are Autogame Experience including penny arcade games of the 1950s and 1960s, retro 1980s classics and 1990s favourites such as “Sega Rally”.
In April 2014 the Museum completed an extensive £6M redevelopment and now has an entrance foyer and reception area; a large museum shop, a café, conference and hospitality facilities and Haynes Workshop Services. The Museum regularly hosts conferences for organisations outside the motor industry.
