On September 4th, we held an evening convoy drive, starting in Bere Regis and taking in an area to the west of the Isle of Purbeck to eventually arrive in Wareham for dinner at the Italian Kitchen on Wareham Quay. The evening was planned, organised and led by Ray Storey.
A group of eleven Alfas gathered in the car park at Bere Regis before setting off on the drive. Passing along rural narrow country lanes we ascended the ridge near Tyneham Village which gave superb views over the surrounding countryside before descending and eventually arrived at the restaurant for dinner. At the restaurant, we had almost exclusive use of the upstairs room for a very nice dinner and we offer our thanks to Ray for planning and organising the evening.
