Hi All

June was another successful meeting, including a couple of new faces with a couple of interesting cars, Mick with his immaculate cream 105 Spider and Chris with his Twin Spark engined Bertone coupe. I have attached a few images as per usual.

Sunday July 14th Kimbolton Fayre Kimbolton Castle PE28 0EA

Please can you let me know (not those that already have) if you would like to come to this event as soon as possible

Plan is to meet up at 9/9.15am at Caxton Gibbet Service Station CB23 3AS, to hand out the wristbands to get us in, then is £10 on the gate for car and passengers.

A great and varied event, see link below; Plus Images of the event added post script!

Thursday 25th July Monthly Meet 19.00 onwards The Bunbury Arms, Ixworth Rd, Bury St Edmunds, IP31 2NX. This has proved a very popular venue over the years.

SUNDAY 4th August Helmingham Hall Festival of Classic and Sports Cars

If you would like to attend, (and quite a few section members already are!) don’t be put off by the word ‘classic’ in the title, the stand is open to all Alfas of any age, as all are worthy, a cheque for £10 guarantees one car, a driver and a passenger a space on the stand and throughout the event, cheques made out to Graham Simper, and posted to Broadview House, 65 High Street, Debenham, Suffolk, IP14 6QS please as I have to pay up front.

It is a regular event for the  section and probably the biggest classic car show in our part of the world. You (well your car!) will be required on stand by 9.30 till 4.pm. A bit of footage of a previous event below!

Sunday 25th August Suffolk Drive

Starting from the Sainsbury’s car park at Bedingfield Way IP32 7EJ and finishing at the Rose Inn Shotley IP9 1NL One of Malcolm’s tulip road books will guide the way! Start times and more details in next month’s letter.

Classic Cars at Glemham Hall 1st September Looking further ahead this is a new Classic Car event at Glemham Hall, it’s raising money for Children in Need. I have arranged for ALL Alfas to be eligible for entry to the club stand so break out your new Stelvios!

I look forward to seeing some familiar and new faces over the coming months.

Graham
