July 7 Meet – Wessex Concours
The glorious weather held for us as we held the Wessex Concours at the Sir Walter Tyrell in the New Forest.
A great turnout with a range of Alfas from 1968 to 2006.
Peter Smart, our Alfa Specialist (http://www.thamesmotorcompany.co.uk/ did a splendid job with the judging producing a list of worthy winners, with Nigel presenting the winners with some Italian bubbly (although he did have a problem with the presentation of the 60s class winner!!!)

1980 Category David Summers – Alfa Romeo Sud Sprint
1970 Category David Kell – Alfa Romeo Giulia GT Junior
1960 Category Nigel Varney – Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTV 1968
Discussions then followed regarding the centenary events which had been visited. Dave Perkins having returned with his spider from Milan, Geoff & Olivia Scutt back from York, and Ray Storey from Goodward (with a mini review of the Giulietta!).
We are now all looking forward to Classics of the Castle – our big event!!
