July 2023 Meeting
Our meeting on July 12th was our annual Show and Shine fun concours competition. The event was again held at the Langton Arms at Tarrant Monkton, a beautiful old Dorset thatched pub in an idyllic village setting. The pub has the benefit of a large field where we can display our cars. We were fortunate that the weather turned out to be significantly better than had been forecast and we enjoyed a dry and even occasionally sunny summer evening as people enjoyed drinks, dinner, chatting and admiring the cars !
This year’s event was sponsored by Autolusso Bournemouth to whom we offer a big thank you.
Ultimately, a total of 24 Alfa Romeos were displayed. We also welcomed Tony Bentley, John Bonafoux, Mark Keats and Colin Masters who have all joined the club relatively recently and were attending their first meeting.
The Show and Shine competition was judged by Laurence Preston of Autolusso. After some careful consideration, the following winners were announced. Each winner received a certificate and a bottle of Prosecco.
