July 09 Meet – The Wessex Concours
A Fantastic turnout at the Sir Walter Tyrell Pub in the heart of the New Forest, by the historic Rufus Stone. By 19:30 the reserved section of the car park was almost full, with Wessex section Alfisti enjoying the heatwave and the great food on offer.
With 16 cars taking part in the concours, we had a great range of Alfas from a 2600 Sprint right up to a gorgeous MiTo.
Peter Smart, our resident Alfa Specialist (http://www.thamesmotorcompany.co.uk/) was the judge for the Concours and did a splendid job producing a list of worthy winners. Peter & Nigel then interviewed each of the class winners after presenting them with their certificates & bubbly wine.
