AROC

We are delighted to be hosting our Spring Alfa Day at the fabulous Burghley House in Stamford Lincolnshire on Sunday 10th May 2026.

The House

A magnificent House, built by William Cecil as home to the dynasty that he founded

Burghley is one of the largest and grandest surviving houses of the sixteenth century and a wonderful example of the great Elizabethan ‘prodigy’ houses, built to honour the Queen.

Conceived by William Cecil, Lord High Treasurer to Queen Elizabeth I and built between 1555 and 1587, Burghley is a testament to the ambition and vision of the most powerful courtier of the first Elizabethan age.

The Gardens

Bursting with life, Burghley Gardens feature imaginative planting, sculpture and surprises sure to delight

Two spectacular gardens, each with their own distinct atmosphere and beauty.

Discover horticulture, sculpture and sensational seasonal colour as you stroll through the undulating landscape of our Sculpture Garden, Capability Brown’s lost gardens.

Then step into a world of classical civilisation, astrology and astronomy in the highly entertaining Garden of Surprises. A sensory delight with the unexpected at every turn.

Adventure Play

Join in the fun at Hide & Secrets

Burghley’s awesome woodland adventure play area Hide & Secrets is themed around William Cecil as the country’s first Chief Spymaster and features a series of fun-packed play zones that lead to the Hidden Towers.

Entering through a hidden stone arch, families are transported into a magical setting that will ignite imaginations and provide endless hours of outdoor fun.

Competitions

All Alfa Romeos present will be included in the Car of Day which is selected by public vote – it could be you!

Prices

Tickets for Spring Alfa Day are just £16 per car for AROC members and £22 per car for non members.

Purchase of a Spring Alfa Day ticket permits optional two-for-one admission to the house on production of the ticket or event programme at the house ticket office.
